Joan Soteras Vigo (Sabadell, 1948) is a Textile Dyeing Technician and a textile entrepreneur of recognized prestige. Married, with three children and four grandchildren, his life has been linked to the world of football, always in the management side. He has dedicated much of his "football career" to the club of his city, CE Sabadell, where he has been in three very differentiated stages. The first as vice president between 1984 and 1990 when the harlequin club was in the First Division. Soteras assumed the Presidency in two difficult periods of the Catalan club, always achieving category promotions and stabilizing the club economically until returning it to the elite. The first was between 1994 and 1996 with a promotion from Third to Second B; and the second between 2006 and 2013, when promotions to Second B and Second Division were achieved after more than 18 years away from professional football. Since 2011 he has served as first vice president of the Catalan Football Federation. In 2018 he was proclaimed President with the highest majority of support in the history of the Catalan Federation. Since 2023 re-elected President of the Catalan Football Federation, combined with being Vice President of the RFEF.
