ENOUGH VIOLENCE
During the 2015-2016 season, the Catalan Football Federation promoted the Anti-violence campaign. Under the slogan ‘Enough violence in football’, all football and futsal teams in Catalonia take to the field showing a black flag with the slogan with the objective of demanding maximum respect from everyone involved in this sport.
WHAT DOES THE CAMPAIGN CONSIST OF?
It aims to eradicate uncivil behavior, such as discrimination based on sex, race, or insults, on football fields and futsal pavilions.
EL CODI ÈTIC
The Code of Ethics is a document aimed at promoting respect among all those related to federated competitions, decreasing violent or uncivil behavior related to sports practice, and guaranteeing fair play in the competition.
The regulation of the FCF Code of Ethics has as its fundamental objective that in sports practice, ethics, good customs, and values of respect, rectitude, commitment, loyalty, and objectivity prevail.
ELEMENTS THAT FORM PART OF IT
This campaign does not only consist of showing the flag but is also accompanied by the implementation of a new federation Code of Ethics, which was subscribed by an absolute majority at the FCF Ordinary General Assembly in 2015. Referees, not the clubs, are responsible for carrying the flag to each match.
Referee kit logos: the 'Joc Net' and 'Respect' logos are visible on the referees' shirts.
